______കൃഷ്ണനും ശ്രീനന്ദിനിയും കത്തുകളും______
എന്റെ കോളേജ് മാഗസിനില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച രസകരമായ കഥകളില്‍ ഒന്ന്...
1.എന്റെ കണ്ണന്,ഇന്നലെ കുളക്കടവില്‍വച്ചു കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ എന്താ ഒരു പവര്‍. ഒന്ന് ചിരിച്ചലെന്താ ആകാശം ഇടിഞ്ഞു വീഴുമോ? ഏട്ടത്തി കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടാണോ. സാരല്യ, എട്ടത്തിക്കെല്ലാമറിയാം. കണ്ണന് പോയപ്പോള്‍ ഏട്ടത്തിയുടെ ഒരു നോട്ടം... ഞാനങ്ങോട് ചൂളിപ്പോയി. കണ്ണാ... വീട്ടിലെ പൂച്ച പെറ്റു. എനിക്ക് നാണായി. ഞാന്‍ നമ്മളെപ്പറ്റി കുറെ വേണ്ടാത്തതൊക്കെ ആലോചിച്ചു. പിന്നെ ഇന്ന് വൈകീട്ട്‌ കാവില്‍ വരില്ലേ? ഇന്നലെ കാണിച്ചതുപോലെ വല്ല തോന്ന്യാസം കാണിച്ചാല്‍ നല്ല അടി വച്ചുതരും ഞാന്‍. നിര്‍ത്താന്‍ തോന്നണില്ല. അയ്യോ ദാ അച്ഛന്‍ വരുന്നൂ...നിര്‍ത്തട്ടെ..സ്വന്തംശ്രീക്കുട്ടി.
2.കണ്ണേട്ടന്,ഇന്ന് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കോളേജില്‍ inaguration ആയിരുന്നു. ഓരോ പിള്ളേരും അവരുടെ lines കൂടെ കൊണ്ട് നടക്കുന്നു... ഹോ എനിക്കങ്ങട് കൊതിയായിപ്പോയി. ഇനി എന്നാ ഇതൊക്കെ. ഈ പഠിത്തോക്കെ ഒന്ന് വേഗം കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍മതിയായിരുന്നു. അവിടെ അമ്മായിക്ക് സുഖമല്ലേ. ഞാനോരുദിവസം അങ്ങട് വരന്നുണ്ട്. അച്ഛനും അമ്മയും ഞാന്‍ ഇതെഴുതന കണ്ടാല്‍ കളിയാക്കി ജീവനെടുക്കും. എന്റെ ജീവനെടുത്താ ചോദിക്കാനും പറയാനും ആരുമില്ലെന്നാ ഇവരുടെ വിചാരം. നിര്‍ത്തട്ടെ. സ്വന്തം ശ്രീക്കുട്ടി
3.കൃഷ്ണേട്ടന്,ജോലി ഇപ്പൊ കിട്ടുംന്നൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് എന്തായി? അച്ഛന്‍റെ മുന്‍പില്‍ തല പൊക്കിപ്പിടിച്ച് നിക്കാണെങ്കില്‍ ജോലി വേണം. അതൊന്നും അറിയാത്തതല്ലല്ലോ. കൃഷ്ണേട്ടന് ഒരു ചൂടില്ല. വലുതാവുമ്പൊ ആളുടെ സ്വഭാവമൊക്കെ മാറും എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ വിചാരിച്ചു. ആലോചനകളൊക്കെ മുറയ്ക്ക് നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അച്ചനെല്ലാം തള്ളിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്ക്യാ. വാക്കുപാലിക്കണ്ടേ. അമ്മായിക്ക് അസുഖം ഒന്നും ഇല്ല എന്നുവിചാരിക്കുന്നു. ശ്രീനന്ദിനി
4.കൃഷ്ണന്‍ ചേട്ടന് ശ്രീനന്ദിനി എഴുതുന്നത്. അപ്പുവേട്ടന്‍ കാലത്ത് ജോലിക്ക് പോയാല്‍ എഴുമണി ആവുമ്പോഴാ വര്വ. അതുവരെ മുത്തുവിനെ കളിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കും. മുത്തു എപ്പോഴും കൃഷ്ണന്‍ മാമനെ ചോദിക്കാറുണ്ട്. ഞാന്‍ ഒരു കാര്യം ചോദിക്കണമെന്ന് കുറെ നാളായി വിചാരിക്കുന്നു. കൃഷ്ണേട്ടന് എന്താ കല്യാണം കഴിക്കാത്തത്‌???

മലയാളത്തില്‍ എഴുതാം; വായിക്കാം! - To read and write in Malayalam!
You need to get a unicode font installed on your computer to read Malayalam contents properly on websites. Here is a step-by-step guide to download and install a Malayalam unicode font.
Download the latest unicode font AnjaliOldLipi ( http://varamozhi.sourceforge.net/fonts/AnjaliOldLipi-0.730.ttf ) and save in Windows Font folder. Restart the Computer. In Internet Explorer go to Tools, Internet Options, Fonts, Select Malayalam from the pull down menu and select AnjaliOldLipi as the font. Go to Tools > Internet options > Fonts > select Malayalam under Language script > select web page font as AnjaliOldLipi In fact, any Malayalam unicode font including the default font Kartika, shipped with the Windows should do the trick. However, Kartika being the modern lipi, most people prefer AnjaliOldLipi.

A letter from a Punjabi mother to her son.
My dear Jagjit,I am in a well here and hoping you are also in a well there. I'm writing this letter slowly, because I know you cannot read fast.We don't live where we did when you left home. Your dad read in thenewspaper that most accidents happen 20 miles from home, so we moved 20miles.I won't be able to send the address as the last Sardar who stayed heretook the house numbers with them for their new house so they would nothave to change their address. Hopefully by next week we will be able to take our earlier address plate here, and that our address willremain same too.
This place is really nice. It even has a washing machine, situatedright above the toilet I'm not sure it works too well. Last week I put in 3 shirts, pulled the chain and haven't seen them since.The weather here isn't too bad. It rained only twice last week. Thefirst time it rained for 3 days and second time for 4 days.The coat you wanted me to send you, your Aunt said it would be a little too heavy to send in the mail with all the metal buttons, so wecut them off and put them in the pocket.Your father has another job. He has 500 men under him. He is cuttingthe grass at the cemetery. By the way I took Bahu to our club's poolside. The manager is Badmash.He told her that two piece swimming suit is not allowed in his club.We were confused as to which piece should we remove?Your sister had a baby this morning. I haven't found out whether it is a girl or a boy, so I don't know whether you are an Aunt or Uncle.Your uncle, Jetinder fell in the nearby well. Next item in my wishlist is a Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 with 7.2mp, 3xOptical Zoom which is more than enough to captue my dream shots! It is an updated version of last year's popular DSC-W50 digital camera. I expect that must be an ultra-compact, point-and-shoot camera. As is often the case with new digital camera models, the resolution of this Cybershot has gone up! This time to 7.2 Megapixels. This cute camera has nearly twice as much built-in memory; a total of 56MB!
So... what am I waiting for? Next salary huh?
